But technically they're both correct.
It is called Luna. It is also called "the moon."
The correct question to ask would be "What is the first name given to the largest celestial object that orbits the Earth?"

But seriously, there's another space game I play on occasion where they named some planets after the beta testers, including myself. Difference is, in DS you can change your name.

We also use the name Luna because it's pretty embarassing when someone has to squawk into the communications:
"This is THE MOON traffic control, report your status please."
"UGTO personnel from THE MOOOON intercepted an Farstar agent today..."
"Our chief facility is located on THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON, the final fortress in our defense of mother Earth."
It's impossible to say it without an increasingly aggravated and ludicrous inflection.
