ok i have looked for a while, and i can't find answer. if i missed it sorry.
but what in hell counts against you for Kamikaze points?
i know it's not ship ramming, because you can't do that, although that should be what it's for as the name implies!
it's not self destructs, because i haven't done that once, and never intend too. And planet ramming is a totally separate stat.
it's bad enough i can't get ship capture points, let alone i get points for something i haven't a clue what it is.
and they took away scout badge  that i have been working so hard trying to get.

When your ship explodes, you get one kamikaze point for each enemy ship you damage in the explosion.

Kamikaze points are beneficial, by the way.
Also, the scouting badge has been removed, but the points and benefits are all still there..

But what or how far do you have to damage before you score some points?
Will shield/armor damage get you points? Or must it hull them before you get some?
