Would it be possible for the staff to make a build sim, all it would need to be is the f3 screen but on its own server tab or something so u just load it up and can practise building. Im not the best at explaining thinsg but alot of people just dont get building and they find ot hard to learn because ppl shout at them if they get it wrong or they have difrent views oina good build. But maybe if we ahd a build sim so ppl can learn to build on, well atleast get some idea of whats makes the world go round that would be great. it wount need to have build times or time for pop to build or tech just everything at an instant so they can create templates of good working builds.

Maybe to help with the learning curve, instead of clumping all the building templates in the lower right hand corner of the screen, they can be catagorized by their uses, instead of spending 30 seconds looking for the varience generator, it would be listed with all the other power generators, same with the fire bases and other things.
It'd be nice of it looked like this instead of a jumbled mess:
Line 1: [colony hub] [dome]
Line 2: [farm] [auto farm] [bio cond]
Line 3: [fusion generator] [varience gen]
Line 4: [bunch of firebases and defence stuff]
Line 5: [mines] [mantle extractor]
Line 6: [starports and other random stuff]
When I started as an engi, it took me 5 minutes trying to find a mantle extractor, if they're all organized, it'd be easier to build stuff.
Something like this:

This was my first thought as well. It's not really hard to get used to where the icons are, but having to do it for 3 differently arranged sets seems a bit excessive. Of course, on the off chance they do get re-arranged might as well put them into a more new player friendly setup.

The ship selection icons for the different factions are arranged differently too which is a but annoying.
