i am saying this because atm, icc is how the factions are meant to be by definition. why do i say this?

The HC appears to be the most common ship, and thats because its basicaly the only useful one, and it has so many things going for it.

ICC dreds seam to have little appeal, except for a few IC's.

on the other hand, UGTO and K'luth, if you can use a dred, you you dont bother with a cruiser, because a dred just does the job far better.

what im saying here is:

good job to the devs for making ICC how a faction is meant to be

do w/e is required to get more UGTO/k'luth into cruisers and out of dreds

Sorry. Yer not making sense.

Dreads are supposed to be the more versatile vessels by virtue of the space available for weaps loadout. The only thing is that they should be expensive to field and lose.

Cruisers appeal because they're a good middle ground between firepower and mobility. When pursued by a group, a well piloted cruiser shd be able to dodge enemy fire better than any dread.


Kluths prefer a good mix of cruisers and dreads. Stations are just too immobile and unstealthy for our liking.

Pretty much. the only big issue i see at the moment is shield/armor repair. Takes forever on ICC but Uggies are fast with enough depots/supply plats.

bring back the uber shields of 483, problem solved , and about the icc dreads from what i heard the combat dread is getting a layout tweak so maybe that will make it more useful because atm the AD is the best icc dread

good im happy to hear that the I.C.C M400-Combat Dread is getting a overhaul

just hope shields get a bit stronger or we get more of them

I don't think so.
ICC CD = UGTO CD, and as you can see, rarely those ships flying.
Only ICC has MD and Bomber D.

MD rules in long range. No other ships can beat it from farthur than 1500gu.

And so you know, ICC doesn't have bomber cruiser. You take risk when bomb a planet in bomber des, as it's easy out of energy (and no energy, no jd). And I have to say that nothing bomb as good as bomber dread. It take just 1 fly to cap a planet with bomber dread (actually i'm in command dread and help bomber dread), but yeah it's still very fast.

Actually, I don't have many experience with ICC dreads, but I guess the only issue is about ICC cruiser. Too many cruisers that you won't use it.

I recommend ICC dreads, UGTO cruiser and Kluth des

Come on guys, stick on topic.


What im trying to say here is on ICC your crazy flying a Combat dred without a reasonable backup of smaller ships. *points at that lovely lineup of HC's*

According to ship descriptions, this is how its meant to be.

cruisers form the core of the fleet, with a few dreds to act as more of a support role.

what im asking here, is: nerf other dreds

I don't want to bomb in the jumper cruiser, prefer bomber des but need back up.

Most of ICC ships are equivalent to UGTO ships, if the pilot know how to use.

Now talking about the signature ship, I'd love MD more than Aricourt. UGTO Carrier Dread looks like it's stuck between Aricourt and Command dread, nothing specific make it seldom useful.

UGTO BS really the strongest station in the game. But since it has no pulse beam then looks like it's the easier target for scarab than LS.
