To complete with scout improvements i would like too see same changes done to frigates ....

giving them heavier variant of at least 2-4 weapons (e.g. 2 heavy rail and 2 AT mk2 missiles in case of ICC Assault Frigate)

and ofcourse accordingly change offensive frigate for K'luth and UGTO

attack destroyers maybe would come handy also of one or two heavy mounts

Ship layout overhauls are in progress, the ships will retain a layout similar to their original, but optimized for the current version.

If i recall, we would never have see only changes to the corvettes, but because of a certain build, it happened.

All ships are being looked at, the started at corvettes and i hope there almost done with the frigates, if not done already.

Normally you won't see Missiles MKII on low class ships, its primary function is to cut down on gadget count. Minimal Cruisers or above.
Heavy Cannons however is something else, when two cannons of the same type and same arch exist, it gets replaced with a Heavy variant to reduce particle count. It basically is just double damage at twice the energy cost.


But like you, i look forward to go into beta and see the new frigates.
