Well,
I've flown the HC alot. its my 2nd favourite ship.alot of you on the MV have probaly seen my speed rigged HC.
Well, i do like the ship, and its layout is great.
Exception: 3 missile slots. i find them totaly useless. there are too little to make any significant damage, nevermind any Point Defense.
My point is, can we swap the missiles for a few more torps or rails? it would be much more useful, especialy close up.Or anything, other then a few useless missiles.

yeah i change mine to sabots aswell. tho they to are questionable unless your more or less right ontop of the enemy as they fly so slow.

it could use a little buffing up like shelds or more torps but im happy with the way it is.

the missiles are far from useless, they can ammount up to 1/4 the total damage an HC outputs at a distance. If you use two arcs, you can consistently fire 4 missiles and 5 cannons.

This issue seems to be on many other ICC ships and needs to be addressed. Having just a few missile slots to bring the ship to the same "point level" as its counter parts is just plain lazy. 2-3 missile slots is pointless since PD on any ship will just shoot them down. Sabots are just too slow and damage is so-so that's if all of the rockets hit. So if those MKII slots could be replaced with a heavy railgun instead (I think that's the same point cost) and others the same way it would help many ships out. The SCB and Line station for ICC have this issue too with just 1 or 2 missile slots which could be used better.

that is EXACTLY what i am saying!
i do know how to use the hc to its full potential...... but 4 missiles is a joke, and SaBOTs are useless anyway.

Excuse the double post.
The 1st RA fleetwars event was alot of fun!
i noticed something:
with the current setup, the HC works best when its grouped. (you can put out more missiles then a missile dessy in groups)
Alone, it would by far benefit from a extra few rails or torpedoes.
