I agree try them all to see which ships your best at. But just a note in all fairness dont believe that the ICC is a defensive class, its really the underdog class. But dont believe me try all the factions and give them all a fair shot. If you need any help we will try our best to aide you in having fun.Good luck and have patience.

I would join a fleet if it has shown it has good teamwork, that it will be there to help you, nurture your growth into a fine DS player. In days gone by we had such fleets that took in new players, taught them the ropes then brought them up into the ranks of admin to the fleet.

So when assessing which fleet, make sure you find one that fits the description of good fleet, great team, and good play.

UGTO is the easiest to start of with, if you ask me. You don't have to figure out how to use shields or cloaking properly, and energy management is much easier.

But yeah, once you get the hang of things, try out the other two and see if one of them better suits your playstyle.

energy/shield management really aren't all that difficult, just a matter of a few extra clicks and knowing when to and not to shoot
