Privateers Specialise in bording enemy vessles to sabatauge the ships systems, steal supplies, women, and often even taking over an entire vessle;

A privateer was a private warship authorized by a country's government by letters of marque to attack foreign shipping....
Privateers were part of naval warfare of some nations from the 16th to the 19th century.
A privateer was a private warship that was authorized by a national government to engage as a commerce raider, interrupting enemy trade. Privateers were of great benefit to a smaller naval power, or one facing an enemy dependent on trade: they disrupted commerce and hence enemy tax revenue, and forced the enemy to deploy warships to protect merchant trade. Privateering was a way of mobilizing armed ships and sailors without spending public money or commissioning naval officers. Some privateers have been particularly influential in the annals of history. The crew of a privateer might be treated as prisoners of war by the enemy country if captured. The ship itself, if a serviceable warship, might then be commissioned into regular service.

Basically what I'm getting at is it they were not privatly owned "pirate" ships, they were a special form of government tactics, to stop foreign shipment of supplies to the enemy...
It is a common missconception that privateers were pirates they were in-fact employed by national government as a special tactic to stop enemy trade

how would we get around the fact most planets if not all built planets have full inf on them.
wouldnt a spy or privateer or what not be instantly mauled?

First of all why do you even bother posting about new ideas when you get
people who will argue a simple point as the name of a infantry type,
i have personaly got to the point i don't even want to see new ideas for staff to work on when they have so much left to still fix the game as it is.
P.S privateer would not be a right name for infantry types as it was already pointed out as ds works on player fleets on a milatary set up so if any thing they would be called marines.
