Sometimes there can be moments in the game when you just have to leave that station or dread in the shipyard and just go out and have fun.....in cruisers.
I know we done this a few times before and it has been good fun, tonight was no exception and after abit of exchange on /yell we thought it be a good idea to have battles in cruisers, well destoryers and cruisers.
With the exception of El Guapo who confused his scale for a siphon because it began with a letter S, the rest of us enjoyed a good dogfighting, exchanging laser fire and cannon blasts at one another and actually laughing and joking about it on yell while we played.
Its been a long time an atmosphere has been like this, with the situation with 1.5 it is now with alot of bugs awaiting to be quashed and also waiting for the new patch to be released, one can still find some enjoyment.
Here are some screenshots of our event, a spur of the moment event but jolly good fun it was.
We also wondered if we maybe do this on an evening once a week, this gives us a chance to let our hair down, have a banter on /yell and also help the new players get accustomed to the game. If you are all interested them lets pick a day that suits most of us, and see if we can make it a regular event, even trying scouts or frigates next time, but Cruisers was still enjoyable.
