Here is my suggestion regarding stopping the abuse of shipyards, and I think everyone knows what I mean. For those that are not sure it is the exploit that some people use to go in and out of a shipyard in times of battle. For the blockade is just to random. Leave the blockade, but bring in a cool down period for a newly spawned ship.

A. Come out of the shipyard situation turns bad so right back in.
B. Constant switching of ships in a battle.
C. You leave a battle, jump another enemy at a different planet, and the station you just left at the planet you jumped from beats you where you are going. By using the shipyard.
D. The one I love the most the yoyo. In and out in a station trying to get postion on an enemy ship to toast it.

Now we have a cooldown period for ecm, and a recharge rate for jumpdrives and it all varies on the size of ship. Now how hard would it be to tie that to the ship you spawn. Make a cooldown period for that ship before you can use the shipyard again. The bigger the ship the longer the cool down.

Is this not an exploit? The use of a sy to swap positions around a planet, usually done with a station, is playing the system and not the game. That seems to me to be a cut and dry RoC violation. I see it, I report it. I would encourage others to do same.

as far as the rest:
Blockade is a joke. K'luth seems to NEVER get one, while the other factions can get one from 3000gu away inside of 20 secs. The whole way it works is ridiculas either way. A CHANCE to blockade? A CHANCE? We can outnumber the enemy 3 to 1 and still fail to get it. What chance? Best if the planet was either automatically blockaded, or just remove it all together. Maybe give the planet a 1 min time window to allow for a switch to a combat ship. Then it should get locked down solid till the battle is over and the enemy driven off. If the battle is over and the enemy prevails, that planet should be looking to help from another planet anyways. They SHOULD be at the mercy of the invader, not able to spam endless ships from their own shipyard.

I agree with a lot az said although i do use sy to get around planet in a station but never in combat as that is a toatly differant situation as time after time i have got on a eads rear only to see it sy and come out in a station and yoyo tiil its on my rear as like what az said it seems very lucky to get a planet blocked is the some sort of fault anywhere.

Yep ... i agree with this.. imagine in a bomber trying to avoid a spawn Station by going at the other side and he's SY to get to you .. geezz known some ppl. who do this...

I have a simple solution.
Change to SY needs full charged JD to dock in.
And uncharge JD after using SY.

Actualy jbud is right about one thing and its not that we are stupid are try to blockade while cloaked. its based on chance and its seems kluth have a snow ball in hells chance to get it

Extractors are fine its the planets thats broken..

As for shipyard abuse, make it so we can decide which side we wanna spawn at instead of making a station spawn at the wrong place then making us waste 2min turning to face the right way.

The scouts blocade all faction planets not just kluth.
