chitinious armor or 2 Ahr?

depends on what u plan on doing. Close in combat seems to work better with twin ahr. Chit seems to be better for stand off, batter- over- time type fighting, as in stations or Ganglia.

Tried 1 x AHR and 1 x CHIT and it is ok if you dont mind the extra time to repair, but for an extra layer x time for combat I feel its always best to go with 2 x AHR. survivability is increased dramatically.

when i was luth, i always used AHR. i seemed to die far less with this than i did with chit

i use chit and ahr on my dreads myself but it all depends on your ship for a start on smaller craft i use ahr, chitnous armour is what helps prevent you virtualy going straight to hull from a high powered alpha strike if your a smaller craft you want double ahr is the way to go as your armour value isnt that good so your more likely to fight any battle at hull anyways.

2 X AHR no doubt..since AHR reps armor when breaking hull this will be WAY much bether then those chit armors

2 X AHR....I'd rather have my repair time halved when i ejump out, then have another armor plate to worry about...

I have 1 experimental station which is all armour enhancements and 1 x chit and 1 x AHR. Defensively it is still a bit of a joke but the difference is noticable.
Outside of this all possible ships 2 x AHR.
