it used to be fun to readem and giggle at otherz pplz misfortune but now its just fourum spam sooo plz stop and just show a mod or admin the pictures or witnesses when ur in the lobby

if they get spammed in the lobby they will never take care of them. If anything forums like the Compensation one should not be included in the latest topics top 10...

Anyone else fine it ironic that he calls others out for spamming the forums for their right to apply for a compensation (there is even a forum dedicated to them fyi).
I personally find it funny because he seems to treat the forum as his own little chat room or blog or whatever it is you want to call it.

Not everyone gets the privilege of having pictures or witnesses. Especially pictures. That'd be pretty suspicious to me. "Oh, hey, I foresee me getting nailed by a bug four minutes into the future and losing my ship so I better take a screenshot of this UBER-COOL-STATION right now." And witnesses? What, like every faction has players nearby who care at all times of the day?
Seriously.
Putting it in the lobby is stupid. Bunches of other stuff gets filtered through there. And, what, is there supposed to be a magic dude that can handle every request at any given moment? Please. The folks who handle compensation requests are human beings who sleep every now and then.
Have a problem with the "Latest Topics" being filled with compensation requests? Oh, well. Too bad. I've been reading them since I've joined this game. I've even made a few. Learn how to look through the forums manually to find topics you'd like to see. Alternatively, just ignore the right side of the screen every time you look at DarkSpace.net. Ignore the forum entirely.
Oh... and... "half of the top ten are comps"? Really? Well, let's see what I've got on my list of Latest Topics here...

I'm seeing one. But, perhaps you were right on some other day... let me check the actual Compensation Request forum...
There are thirteen compensation requests (and a "JD bug?" thread by Anacker) in the Compensation Request forum. This forum was created sixteen days ago. That's less than one request a day. I find it highly unlikely that half of the Top Ten on any given day were compensation requests... especially given all of the other threads that have sprung up since.
I could go on, but I think I've said everything that I need to say.
- Edit: Okay. So, five of the top ten are compensation requests. But they're processed compensation requests. Four approved and a denial. Really, I can't control when those are processed.

Not everyone decides to make a comp request everytime they do actualy lag and die without any control over their ships.
I could have put "over" 1000 comp requests for lag related deaths in my time playing in the MV. But as most players have a love for this game, and knowing that DS gives them alot of fun an entertainment, they take the good with the bad.
As it stands I have only put in 1 comp request in roughly 2 years playing.
