so i was driving around bombing stuff in my command carrier and got jumped by a lone uggie dictor.... and died. as i was exploding i remember a talk ihad with somone about how dictors are suppose to be a support ship with limited combat. in a dread it didnt matter cause evern with full ablative and active shields i could only go 15 g/u and eventually blew up cause i couldnt run or fight him. it was a really annyoying, slow death.

ROFLMAO
quit planet hugging during combat and gain some skills with the ships your rank lets you have.

Dictors will take a serious energy hit in 1.484 when running about 10gu/s. They will not be able to hold you indefinatly, and you will be able to hold your own against a cruiser in a dread.
Having said that, if you lone bomb a planet in 1.484, you're already dead. Dictor or not.

Isn't Command Carrier an admiral rank ship?

he is meaning, stop planet hugging when we are fighting, and use the ships that your rank has, IE Combat Dread, Command Carrier, Bomber Dread.

You were in a non-combatant ship that is meant for a support role that happens to be fricken huge and slow, but brings lot of support to a battle.
You were beaten because you had no combat ships to protect your big fat target, and because the smaller ship goes faster then you
Idiot = you

Is it wrong that I've killed multiple dictors in a Command Carrier?

Well I guess I have to agree with eveyone else, if u bomb alone in any bomber then if u get caught and dead that is your problem.
As for flying ships that your rank allows, well there is a bit of a flaw in saying that, mainly due to th fact that there are now quite a few FA's & GA's around and they are able to fly stations yet I very rarely see stations out in the field any more, and people are allowed to fly whatever they want to fly. If the day ever comes when we are forced to fly certain levels of ships (eg. Dreads, Cruisers etc etc) it will be a very sad moment in the history of this game.
