I just downloaded the game last night and was trying to run the tutorial. When it got to the part where I was to orbit the planet, I pressed 'O' and nothing happend. I started over a few times, and still the same results. So I thought I'd log on to a server to give it a try, and guess what... it worked! But then once I was in orbit, I had NO idea what to do yet since I never finished the tutorial. Is there something going wrong in my tutorial or am I leaving something out?? Help!!

Sometimes the tutorial can be glitchy. It happens to me as well in the MV and other servers. Just retarget the planet and press O again

Thanks, I'll give that a try. But I also targeted other ships, etc, and tried to shadow and follow, and still my ship stayed put!

Reinstall the game then after that restart your computer thats what I did now it works

Yes, I am. I'm downloading the older version now, and seeing if that'll work. Then I'll upgrade it to play online.

Honestly man, I don't think anything is wrong with your install. The tutorial becomes broken at times. Rather than continuing with the tutorial, hop into the newbie server and learn along with the others there. That coupled with the guides that exist out there, you should be all coo.

If nothing else, ask the vets in lobby to help. They don't do anything but sit there anyways.

Still in the process, though!
Something weird.. I installed the game at work, and the tutorial worked. Don't know what the deal is! Of course, I got caught in a loop where I was supposed to destroy an attacking ship to go on, and the other two ships destroyed them all!

The tutorial is just busted right there. It was an old issue, at least since I have been playing. I had the same issue 2 years ago when I first tried the tutorial. Since the tutorial itself is at least 2 versions old, I would think it's time to update it.....
