MTG CARD IDEA
DECK:
Deck can have any number of cards up to and including whatever.
LOBBY:
Lobby can hold up to any number of cards as well
Discard:
ANY NUMBER OF CARDS >:O
Patch:

okay, theirs like......a deck, a lobby, and a discard pile. then theirs the starsystem zone and the battle zone. (each side has one except for the battle zone)
and you play a starsystem card and it can support x number of planets.
ships can have cards attached to them to mod them (fusion reactor gives them + attack, etc)
and ships have (hull)/(armor or shields)
and planets are your resources, you can have one ship for each planet.
Play Style:
1st turn: Draw 7 cards. You need at least One Starsystem card, and One Planet card.
If you didn't get at least one of each of those, put the 7 cards in your deck, shuffle, draw 7 again.
EACH TURN:
-----DRAW TURN-------
-Draw 1(if any special effect cards draw however more) card
-------RESOURCE PHASE-------
You can place down One Starsystem a turn.
You can place down One Planet a turn (Planets goes under Starsystem)
You can move any number of ships from your hand to your lobby.
Can any number of ships from the lobby
Ships heal according to their own accord.
Ships can be modded in your home systems, but not out in the field. 1 mod per ship per turn
Special effects take affect as well here (if any)
-----PATCH PHASE---
During This Phase, you may patch the game. Skips attack phase for you.
Also, all ships on both sides are returned to the lobby.
Note: Unless noted on the current patch in play, you cannot roll back to any earlier patch.
-------ATTACK PHASE-----
Ships can move, attack, dance in circles while proclaiming Josef king of all smurffs, whatever.
Effects and what not take place here
Attack is first done to shield damage (cards have defence noted in hull/(armor or shields)), and then hull damage. If a damage done to a shield/armor is more then the shield has, damage is done to hull (DUH)

Okay. now, what I need from the community...and....I have no idea, this is too awesome!
