Would it be game-legal (not that i plan on doing ANY of what i am about to explain, I am just curious) to form an ALLIANCE with several members of my own faction, and several from the other two factions, to form a kind of 4th faction, where they could all form a fleet for each of the 3 factions, so that their planets could be locked from all others, but whereby they act as a fourth faction (shooting others, even tho they are technically the same faction in the game's eyes) and to have, for instance, a UGTO bomber bombing an ICC planet to capture it for this 4th faction's clan WHILE HAVING Kluth and more importantly ICC escorts (also members of the 4th faction). do you get my question? i guess i mean, is it legal to ESCORT an opposing faction's vessel in bombing one of YOUR faction's planets? is this idea legal? like i said, i am happy as a UGTO and love it dearly. i am just theoretically testing the limits of our freedoms in there.

Absolutely not!
Friendly fire is explicitly prohibited by the DS RoC.
As for helping other factions bomb your own, helping an opposing faction at the expense of your own is sabatoge.
People who aren't informed of the alliance would go 'wtf wth is that n00b attacking me for and why is he helping the red guys'

LOL. geez everyone calm down! ahah! I was just testing the limits, charging the electric-fence looking for weaknesses. thats what i do. i test the limits of things to see what they do under extreme and un-likely circumstances. just an idea that popped into my head. no one is actually plotting on doing this. thanks for all the amusing responses tho. looks like a struck a nerve. might as well have mentioned gun control at an NRA convension....
