Rofl DOM, They said it was Canal STREET!!!!!
My house is a block away on S Scott. This was the closest picture to my house I could find to see how deep the water was in my neighborhood.
I did find an arial or satellite view and can see my brothers car underwater on the side of the house ( he lives next door ), and I can see my truck in the side driveway, its at least not completely submerged. Looks like I can see the stair landing too, on the side.
If thats the case maybe I didnt get any water in the house. I'm surely not counting on that at this point, they estimate about 5-6 feet of water on my corner, which means about a foot or two above floor level.
If the water didnt get me to badly I hope looters didnt either. Sure would be nice to have some stuff left

My friend got extremely lucky, his house was untouched, and the water was I think (can't remember what he told me), 1 foot or 2 away from his house. He must live on the western parts of NO.

Ouch Creep, I've been wondering if your house made it. Looks like you and your construction crew have a lot of work to do for the next few months/years. Hope you are alright and drop me a line, miss ya brother.

Hey Creep, the mold is going to be a problem in New Orleans.
Insurance companies revised their policy to not include
damage due to mold. As soon as the water is outta your house,
I'd do my best to stop any mold growth. The stuff can even get
into the studs of the house and cause all types of symptoms
for people from coughing to asthma, to low energy, brain fog...
Just keep an eye out for it as you are rebuilding bro.
