My thinking for those infs no capping the Clav is that human inf dont live long in the atmospheric conditions inside a Kluth ship.

Is all gasses in there. Our infs can adjust to any atmosphere conditions; hope that explains it

We've got 32 troops stationed on rocks like Luna - I think a little flying sponge would be a piece of cake

I think it is mostly random, aside from whats on that nice little link posted, but....if it makes you feel any better I capped a destroyer with a light transport last night, and I am getting decent at capping ships. Till I get to the MV that is *grins*

After destroyer class, it gets pretty low percentage wise chance to cap unless you drop quite a few troops on and don't get dropped on yourself. I think your target can jump to a planet of theirs (or have it brought to them)and upload infantry to save their bacon, or, the other option (very tasty) is them running into a planet to avoid or render null a capture.

Of course y'all might know a bit more than me about that sort of thing.

If you drop enough inf to fill their cargo they can't load any more INF until one of the enemy ones dies. I actually have fun when I get capped... 'cause then I can kill myself
